Somedays you just want to "kill" them....

So my daughter is a busy bee and loves to play dress up and hairdresser. Unfortunately, she is a hands on kind of child!

Taya no longer has a forehead- she has a "fivehead" because it is so large. She decided to cut her bangs! Wow not much you can do with them but put a hat on her head. Of course she decided to do this just a few weeks before her three year old pictures were to be taken.

In the grand scheme of things- I know it is no big deal and that her bangs will grow- but man it irritates me! Her hair grows at a snails pace- and it is really hard to take her seriously with her hair looking like it does.

So I bought this cute hat at Target for $1.00- but she won't wear it- so she puts it on Root Beer the dog.

Trey took a hair razor to his head once right before Christmas pictures. I guess it must run in the family.

I know some of you are thinking "how did she get scissors?" Well, no matter how hard you watch children, or think things are put away- they will find things to get into! No matter how cute they are, there are days when you just want to throw the towel in. :)

  1. I say cut the rest shorter, too. If I were there, I'd di it for you. She'll be cute and sassy. Regardless, though, what she did is a right of passage! LOL

  2. Aww... we all have those days that we just want to take a pair of scissors and ... then we stop! My little boy had a friend do that to him last year on the bus. The fun never ends... :)

  3. Are you sure you didn't go all Mommy Dearest on her? I remember laughing at that scene while the straight people watching it with me sat there in abject horror...HA!

  4. LOL. I think all little girls do that dont they? I did. I even cut the hair off all my barbie dolls and hid their hair under my bed so I wouldnt get in trouble. My mom found it. I got in trouble. I then went to school to be a cosmetologist. :0)

Also, wanted to thank you for your kind and supportive comments you have left me over the past 4 or so days. Thank you for offering a lending ear. I really appreciate it. Im slowing getting better. I have gotten trough day number 3 with only 2 episodes of tears. You and Jen are fantastic supportive friends of mine.

Also, today I did some scrapbooking with some items you sent to me. I will have to take some pictures for you.
