Halloween 2010!

I hope everyone had a fun Halloween- we had a busy one- starting with Taya not feeling well on Friday- so I looked in her throat and knew without a doubt she has strep- so off to the Dr. for a strep test which was positive. Great!

The Dr. gave her some liquid penicillin- knowing better I asked for it to be flavored- we get home and I go to give it to her and she spits it all over me- I was pissed! It had already been a long day, she was whinny and not feeling well and now I am covered in pink, sticky medicine- so we tried again with the same result. How do you force a 4 year old to take medicine that she does not want to take? Oh, and I forgot to mention she has to take it 4 times a day!

Some days I am just done with her trying my patience! She also hates dance class all of a sudden and does not want to go. She throws a fit, kicks the wall and screams. Did I also mention that when we went to the Dr. she refused to talk to him- she would not answer one of his questions and hid behind me the whole time- so embarrassing- then wen we got to the car and she was chatting my face off- I asked her why she would not talk to the Dr. She said, "he called me Taya, that is not my right name" She refuses to talk to anyone who does not call her Tay Tay! Shoot me now- please.

I already posted Bryce's picture- and I finally got the rest of the kids so I better post them.

Life has been busy around here- I just want to chill and relax, but it does not happen. basketball and wrestling are about to start- Bryce is still playing football. Taya is starting gymnastics on top of the three dance classes she takes- UG!

Next weekend I will be at scrapbooking for 4 days- I can't wait- I may even take a nap!

Pumpkin Patch

I always loved taking the boys to the Pumpkin Patch- now they think they are too old to go- so we took Taya. She had a lot of fun.

We decided to take Toby to his first Haunted House this year- he took his girlfriend and we had a great time. I think Bryce was about 14 when we took him. It is fun being able to do stuff with them as they get older.

I am not a big fan of corn mazes. I have zero sense of direction and after awhile I do not think it is fun to be walking around a field of dried corn- but I did OK on this day!

Have I ever mentioned how much I love my Cricut? I made this Halloween decoration with it tonight. Not really sure how I am going to store it- but it is cute for this year!

One ends, another begins!

Bryce is finally eligible to play football! Due to bad grades last Spring- he had to sit out for 6 games! I gotta hand it to him, he still went to practice and busted his butt even though he could not play- and now he is back in the game. Number 47! These teenage years are killing me!

Toby's team won the Championship on Saturday with 2 more TD's from Toby! So his season is over for 7th grade!

I am loving my new Imagine- I have never been a card maker- but I am sure having fun playing witht his awesome machine and these are some cards I made today!

I wanted to show you some pages I have done- but these pictures are loading sideways and I have no clue how to fix it-can anyone help? Please? I even loaded the pictures sideways hoping it would flip them- but it picks and chooses which ones it wants to flip.

I got a new Cricut machine- it prints and cuts and I love it! I have been scrap booking about 4 pages a day. Have I ever mentioned how much I love to scrapbook?

No pictures of Toby yet- they are not back yet. Not much going on here- just busy with kids on 4 different football teams, having a teenager dating a College girl is taking it's tole on me!

I get my new scrap booking machine tomorrow and I just can not wait- I will have to show you some of the amazing projects that it does!!

I can feel fall in the air- and I am not happy- I love Summer- and I hate the snow- I need to live where it is warmer.

Cat girl and Facebook!

This is how my daughter fell asleep- she thinks she is a cat- so she lays on the back of the couch with the cat!

On the Facebook front- I think I am going to move my posts back to my blog- I have too many friends on FB that it has become awkward- family, and parents of kids on my children's sports teams that I really have never had a conversation with in my life- I know you say- just ignore them- but we live in a small town and what if I offend someone? I am a pleaser! So it has just become weird on FB. How do you deal with FB requests from people you are not sure you want to know everything about your life?

Dog Days of Summer

So the day before they close the pool for good- you can bring Fido down for a swim- it seems we are always busy during this time- but this year it worked out- so we brought Lei hua- she loves the water. We stayed for about an hour and had fun with her- I sure do love this dog.

Toby is number 39- now I have all four boys on 4 different football teams! Since I am not a big fan of the sport- it should be a fun season! :)

I figured out the other day- if each child needs to go two places a day, and forgets just one item a day then I am making 45 car trips a day- ug!
