I have a new baby!

Gotcha- my beautiful and amazing daughter has a new daughter- Arianna Lynn and I therefore have a new baby- see how that works?

Amber just delivered her third daughter and she is so beautiful just like her Mama. I am so proud of her. We had to go see them and love on them for awhile. I wish my health was not so hit or miss and I would go stay with her for a few days to help take care of her- but I am so scared to get to far away from and hospitals that know me.

Happy Birthday-NOT!

So Sunday was my Birthday- Birthday's have never been anything really exciting- but it's your Birthday. Saturday was a long day- I was trying to work on 2 1/2 hours of sleep- Toby had a wrestling match that lasted 12 hours- we did not know it was going to last that long- so I had nothing to eat or drink all day- and apparently it was too much for my stupid body and my sickness reared it's head. I have Cyclic vomiting syndrome.

So I knew I was headed to the ER- I had my neighbor take me in- not wanting to bother Jen at work- and hoping by the time she got home Sunday morning- I would be feeling better- well not the case- she was pissed that I went to the ER without telling her- I was not feeling better and it was my Birthday. By Sunday night I was back in the ER for meds and fluids- but it still did not help- Monday morning I told her I really thought something was wrong and I better go to the Dr. I was in his office all of about 5 mins before he told her to take me to the hospital to be admitted. You know you are sick when that actually sounds like a good idea. Finally we were able to get my illness under control and I am home again- trying to take it slow- as slow as you can with 5 kids and a full time business to run!

So, I am going to skip my Birthday this year and hope that next year will be better.

Sledding

Today was a good day to go sledding-we got like 8 inches of snow last night- so after school we dug out the four wheeler and played for a little while- I mean a little while too because it was so cold!

We only got to play with Dylan because Taya is sick, Trey was at basketball, Toby at wrestling, and Bryce was off doing whatever it is teenagers do when they say they are doing homework!

Anyway, this is one thing I love about living in the country- we have lots of room to play!

Have I ever mentioned how much I love this girl? I am so blessed. Not sure what i did to deserve such a great spouse- but I am thankful everyday for what we have!

Tonight we went to Extreme Midget Wrestling! I have not laughed so hard in a long time. I support midget abuse! It was so fun and the jokes were great! We took the kids and they enjoyed it too- it was a sold out performance!

OK- the half time show- I saw things that I am not sure I will ever get over- if I ever had any questions about how midgets fornicate- I do not any more! I covered the kids eyes during this part!

It was a lot of fun- I recommend it!

Bowling for New Years

After spending many days in the house for Christmas break- Jen finally had a day off and we took the kids bowling. Bryce and Toby did not go, and it irritated me a bit- because they can go with their girlfriends but not their old Mom- I know this is just the beginning- but I had fun with my other three.

I am not a good bowler, nor do I ever care to be- but it is fun to watch how competitive my kids are- and they are not very good either. When the Twins were not looking, I was changing my score to get strikes and spares- it was so funny to watch them get irritated because I was winning- had they been paying any type of attention, they would know I never even knock more than 5 pins down! Jen and I were laughing so hard- I almost bowled a perfect 200! We are still giving them a hard time about how poorly they bowl. Oh the joys of picking on your own kids! lol

Goodbye sweet Leke

When we came home from a day of errands, Leke was laying on the ground and looked dead- we rushed her to the Vet- but she was really cold and really in b=very bad shape. She only made it a few hours. Not understanding what happened or how a dog could die so quick- we thought she was poisoned or feared something might have made her sick and the other dogs were in danger.

We had the Vet do an autopsy of sorts and it seems her gut got twisted and her intestines broke open and leaked bowel into her body and stomach- so there was nothing that could have been done.

We are so very sad to lose her- Rest in peach sweet girl. We will always love you!

I had to share this funny shirt that Bryce got for Christmas! Remember he is 16 and dating a Sophomore in College- not sure she thought it was as funny as we all did!

Out of control!

So, we are now a 6 phone- cell phone family. That is just out of control! I honestly only wanted to get one for Trey- I did/do not think Dylan is ready- but how do you buy a phone for one twin and not the other? So, Dylan lucked out and got one too.



However, we are a cruel family! The Twins thought they were getting them for Christmas- and we did not give them to them, they watched Christmas and the following days come and go with no phones- they were so disappointed but did not complain- so then we gave them to them on New Year's Eve- we just can't help but be a little mean! :)



While they were opening them- we called them to make the boxes ring!

Lucky 11!

Just in case we did not have enough going on for the holiday's, I had a dog due on Christmas Day! So I stayed close to home all week! On Jen's days off- we did nothing because I was sure she would have them while I was gone. She was miserable.

She was big- for her and we thought maybe 5 or so- I actually took these pictures to send to my Mom because we both thought she was not very big!

New years Day- I went to run a few errands and came home to make dinner. I was just loving on her, when all of a sudden I got a weird feeling and called to her and she would not come- I walked into my bedroom and there was a baby on the floor. I rush into Mom mode and try to get her set up where she is supposed to have them and again she won't come- I tell Jen to go get her and she has another one! Finally we get her all set up- 7 hours later- she has 11 beautiful babies born! 6 boys and 5 girls. 11 babies born on 1-1-11. Must be lucky!

She is such a great Mama!

Somewhere in this bunch is our new female- Ika. Pronounced "e ka"- it means strong in Hawaiian. I love you Leihua- you are the best dog in the world!

Christmas 2010

OK, I finally got the Christmas pictures up- I am catching up slowly. Jen got off work at 8 a.m. and came home and made the mistake of saying Merry Christmas to Taya- then she remembered it was Christmas. We kept her bust until about 9:30, when she decided she needed to go wake her brothers so we could open gifts!

I think everyone had a nice Christmas- Jen went back to bed- and we farted around until family came over that night for dinner and to open gifts.

Christmas Eve 2010

On Christmas Eve, we let the kids open one gift before Jen had to go to work. We try to steer them towards something cool, so they are not opening PJ's or something they will not be too happy with.

Jen had to work all night- so I was on my own with the kids- I am thankful that the older ones understand all about Santa- so they can help out some!

We left out cookies for Santa and oats for the reindeer. It was sort of a lonely night for me with Jen gone. Dylan was in Greeley with my Ex- he likes being the only kid there. :)
